Day 2 of the Canadian University Chess Championship was a true marathon of mind and mettle. The day kicked off with the President’s Meeting.

Day 1 of the Canadian University Chess Championship (CUCC) saw 60+ teams converge on a snow-covered Hart House at the University of Toronto.

The 2026 Canadian University Chess Championship's Technical Meeting will be held from 7 pm ET - 8 pm ET on Wednesday, January 14th.

The Organizing Committee has approved two requests for 3rd teams from the same post-secondary institution for the University of Waterloo and the University of Toronto.
