The University of Waterloo's Chess Club will host the 2027 Canadian University Chess Championship (CUCC).
The tournament is tentative planned for the Pearl Sullivan Engineering Building, one of campus’s newest buildings with capacity for ~250 players. Catering will be provided. The venue is located directly next to UW Station, Waterloo Region’s primary transit hub. There are direct buses from Toronto, Hamilton, Guelph, London, and more. Region of Waterloo International Airport has frequent direct flights to and from Calgary and Halifax. Hotel group rates are in the works.
